Forward

This well-researched, well-written, engaging book is like having a personal, friendly helpmate. Instead of offering the usual "reasons" for problems, it shows how to resolve them by recontextualizing their structure.

The helpful, simple exercises and technologies that are described are surprisingly effective because they are based on the most advanced research on the basic qualities that underlie all human thought and emotions.

Whereas the great majority of books that are devoted to the progression of life skills are limited to content only, in this more advanced approach to the subject the importance of overall context is clearly identified. This is illustrated by personal vignettes, which make the writing interesting and personal and not just didactic.

Although addressed to educators, this concise gem of a book is a valuable resource for anyone who is interested in more pleasurable, satisfying, and effective living.
